On July 10th, 2012 my beautiful son, Mason Goldberg had tragically drowned in a neighborhood pond. It is by far the worst and most horrific thing that me and my family have ever gone through. After a few days after Mason had passed I realized that I needed to do something productive in Mason's name or I was destined to go insane with my grief. When you experience a loss such as this one so many different things go through your head such as what could have been done or handled differently. All the experts told me not think like this, but how couldn't I? My son had just drowned because he couldn't swim. So right away I knew what needed to be done. I think that every child no matter if they are rich or poor should get a full shot at life and for me that includes learning to swim and knowledge of water safety.
